Moonstone Pendant ‘Moon Knight’II

I created the “Moon Knight” pendant from an exceptionally beautiful teardrop-shaped moonstone cabochon, which I’ve wrapped in intricate weaves of oxidized and polished silver. The moonstone originates from Sri Lanka – a place renowned for yielding the most exquisite specimens of this gem – and it displays an intense blue-pearlescent glow. The piece was entirely handcrafted using the wire wrapping technique, making it a very labor-intensive and unique design. The pendant is suspended on a silver (925 sterling) chain featuring large, oval links. The necklace is fastened at the front with an elegant toggle clasp. The entire piece has been oxidized and meticulously polished.
