Its origins are as mystical as the stone itself, with significant sources found in Sri Lanka, India, Madagascar, and Burma, each offering moonstones with distinct qualities. This gemstone has been cherished by civilizations for centuries, used in jewelry, amulets, and as an object of trade, embodying the mystery and magic of the moon in tangible form.

The history of moonstone jewelry is deeply entwined with legends and lore, where it was believed to bring good fortune, enhance intuition, and promote inspiration. Ancient Romans admired moonstone, believing it was born from frozen moonlight, while in Asia, it was a sacred stone, linked with love and passion. The allure of moonstone has not faded over time; it remains a popular choice for jewelry designers and enthusiasts alike, appreciated for its subtle, yet striking, presence.
